Grammar: Simple Past Tense



We often talk about memories using the past tense because obviously those memories happened in the past. That is why you need to know the Simple Past Tense!

Grammar: Simple Past Tense (Part I)

Hi guys!
What is the form of sentence that you are used when you want to tell or write about something that happen in the past time? Of, course the answer is PAST TENSE.
For now, we are going to learn about SIMPLE PAST TENSE. It is just simple explanation to introduce what is simple past tense, for more explanation, will be explained in the next post.

Useful responses when introducing yourself or other people

  •  Nice to meet you.
  •  Pleased to meet you.
  •  Happy to meet you.

Things to remember:

  • When introduing yourself or other people in a formal situation use full names, ("I'm Alex Litterman.")
  • "How do you do?" isn't really a question, it just means "Hello"
